Different sport, same result: USC pounds Penn State

Share/Bookmark
In their last four matches the USC men's volleyball team has defeated #4 Stanford, #1 UC Irvine, #2 Pepperdine, and now #5 Penn State. The Nittany Lions took the first game 30-27, then the Trojans rolled into the National Championship match by scores of 30-26, 30-26, and 30-24.

Not that this had anything to do with the outcome of the match, but why are they playing at such a garbage venue? There wasn't enough room around the court and players were banging balls off the low ceiling and air ducts. And both teams had way too many service errors, mostly caused by balls sailing long in the thin air. It's ridiculous that a Final Four would be played under such horrible conditions.

Again, not taking anything away from USC, they whipped us fair and square. But please, NCAA, please don't ever let BYU host again.
