Clark was one of eight pro and college quarterbacks who served as counselors at the prestigious Elite 11 passing camp this week on the campus of Soka University in Aliso Viejo, Calif.

A candidate to replace Clark, Robert Bolden from Michigan, was one of the invitees. Bolden, who gave a verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions earlier this month, was rated fifth overall by the counselors at the end of the 12-man camp on Thursday. Bolden was also given the “Best Arm” and “Quickest Release” awards.

Clark said he finished second in a passing accuracy competition among the counselors, a group that included Heisman winner Carson Palmer (USC/Cincinnati Bengals), NFL rookies Mark Sanchez (USC/New York Jets) and Chase Daniel (Missouri/Washington Redskins), and fellow college seniors Colt McCoy (Texas), Zac Robinson (Oklahoma State), Cody Hawkins (Colorado), and Juice Williams (Illinois).
