Penn State was tied with Cornell for the top spot in last week's InterMat Team Rankings.
Penn State thumped #23 Pitt, 30-7, and destroyed #20 Indiana, 36-8, in duel meets over the weekend. The Big Red lost a tight one at #14 Lehigh last week.
This doesn't necessarily mean Penn State will be all alone in the top spot when the new rankings are released on Tuesday, because "InterMat tournament-strength rankings are based on InterMat individual rankings using NCAA tournament scoring. Dual meet team results are not taken into account."
